Hello everyone. We had a bit of a last minute change of plan for this month’s show as two of the acts pulled out at short notice. So we called on Jon Gomm to stand in and play for us. Gallo Opened the night and played their first gig in over 6 months, and it was great to see them playing live again.

Now there is currently a backlog of podcasts to go out, namely the three acts from september and now the two acts from this month. Plus a few extra bits as well, so our aim is to get them all up on the site by the next Listening room Night in November. (more details to follow)

Hello listeners. The listening room has been a bit quiet of late. Apologies for that. we have some material coming out later this week so watch out for that. News on future shows is to follow shortly. The listening room pod-cast recordings will start again on Sunday September 19th and our new weekly Verve sessions start on Wednesday September 24th. If you are in a band from Yorkshire and fancy being featured then get in touch.

Well here it is. After the pulling out of hair learning FTP the hard way the first Listening Room Podcast is complete. This month we have interviews and performances from Samsa, Ric Neale and Steer. The podcast is and m4u file and contains pictures and links etc. If you don’t use itunes or don’t have compatible devices and you would like an mp3 version email podcast@thelisteningroom.co.uk and we will send it to you if enough people want mp3 then we will post mp3 too.
